Ari Lennox

Courtney Shanade Salter, aka Ari Lennox, was born in Washington, D.C. on March 26th on the 26th of March, 1991. She is an American singer-songwriter and the first artist to be signed by J. Cole to his record label Dreamville Records. Her first EP, Pho which was released on 21 October 2016 was released on Dreamville Records. She began to gain fame. Shea Butter Baby, her debut studio album was released 7 May 2019. Ari Lennox has been uploading her music since 2012 following the release of her first mixtape "Five Finger Discount" and her EP Ariography. In 2014 she continued to release her music on the web, including her own release single Bound. On 21st of July 2015. Omen was featured on Elephant Eyes the track"Sweat It Out. The following year, her music circulated throughout the Dreamville group as J. Cole wanted her to work with him on some possible references for Rihanna. On December 8 it was revealed that she had contracted to Dreamville Records. Backseat was a track was written by her and Cozz to record the collaboration album Revenge of the Dreamers II. On the 21st of October in 2016, the EP Pho debuted. Ari Lennox appeared in J. Cole's Change track, and performed on her own tour, the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour 2017. in 2018, the singer-songwriter guested on two tracks featuring EarthGang, on Nothing but the Best, and Bas on Icarus. The debut album of Ari Lennox Shea Butter Baby was released on 16 July 2018. The first single, Whipped Cream of the album came out the 5th of September, 2018 and featured a the music video. Then, in November, she released the singles forty Shades of Choke & Grampa. Then, in November 2013, she dropped No One, and Pedigree. Shea Butter Baby. Shea Butter Baby later made appearances in the Creed II album soundtrack alongside Cole. She released this single as a way to celebrate her debut album titled Creed II on 26 February 2019. The 20th of February, 2019, a music video was released for the song. It already has more than three million hits on YouTube within the initial week. The singer was a part of the 6LACK's From East Atlanta With Love Tour at the end of December 2018.
